Yes, yes, everyone has heard of a Moscow mule, BUT have you heard of a tequila mule!? Probably not, and let me tell you, you’re missing out. You know I’m a tequila fan. Palomas for one. I’m also a big margarita fan, like my watermelon margs… and regular margs. I needed a way to bring tequila into the fall spirit. So, here we have a smoked tequila mule.
This cocktail is perfectly spicy with the ginger from the ginger beer, bubbly, and refreshing. Then you add depth to it with the smoke. It’s *insert chefs kiss*, perfect for fall.
This would be delicious without being smoked. But you do need a smoker to make it smoked for this recipe.
Smoked Tequila Mule
+ ice
+ 2 oz tequila
+ 1.5 oz lime juice
+ 3 oz ginger beer
+ Sliced lime
Instructions
- Add ice to your copper mug.
- Add in tequila, lime juice, ginger beer, and stir.
- Add a sliced lime for garnish.
- Get your smoker out and smoke your cocktail! If you don’t have a smoker, drink it as is!
Did someone say, Paloma?! My ears actually would perk up so quickly if I heard the word, Paloma.
Summer cocktails are some of my favourites. Without a doubt, the Paloma is one of my favourite go-to
Okay, Vancouver, thank you for going back into a warm spell and allowing me to flip back to summerti
