This week appears to be the epic week for all things spring. The sun has been shining here in Vancouver, and the weather has been slowly warming up – or maybe I think that because of the sun shining. Either way, I’ve seen a flood of spring content, and I would say the timing for it is absolutely perfect. I’m also joining the bandwagon with some easy changes you can make to your home decor for spring.
Let’s get started.
Easy Spring Home Decor Update: Making your Tablescape Bright and Fresh
You will quickly notice that each of the images in this post has to do with how I’ve decorated my dining room table for spring! It is so affordable, so bright and fun, and SO easy. The coles notes:
- eucalyptus
- lemons
- bright glassware

An Obvious Home Decor Update for Spring: Flowers
This home decor update seems like it should be rather obvious, but just in case, I’m going to throw it out there: bring some beautiful flowers in. Now is the time for tulips, hydrangeas, peonies (soon!) – you get it – bright beautiful flowers. Let them in. You can have them in plant form (think mini herb size), or you can have them as cute bouquets around the house.
Home Decor Update for Spring: The Swap Outs
This home decor update for spring is less obvious but actually a straightforward one. I called it the “swap out” so I could get a few ideas in there.
- Swap out your prints in your home – if you purchase affordable prints, you can easily swap them out for the season. I started doing this over the Christmas holidays, so why not continue now?!
- Keep the pillow inserts, but swap out the covers. Genius, right?!
- Blankets – you can never have too many, and now you know you should rotate through them.
- Swap out your vases, or if you don’t have multiple vases, hit up the thrift store, dollar store, or wherever peaks your interest and spray paint one to spring it up (I elaborate on some ideas on my DIY inspiration post too).
Those are my easy peasy spring updates that don’t cost a fortune and are totally attainable. Do you have any little tricks up our sleeves?!
I would almost say that I'm an early adopter of all things decor, but the more I think about it, som

Truth be told, I had no idea what to call this weeks' Thursday's Three. I mean, bedtime necessities
