yber weekend is here and it is the perfect time to start and finish your holiday shopping for your loved ones. My holiday gift guide for 2023 is here to help you find everything you need in one easy place and, ideally, make your life a little easier. I've done several round-ups for most of my gift guides but first, I'm going to share small businesses that I know and love including the sales they are having now. Then I'll get into slightly bigger brands and my round-ups for everyone.

Being a content creator, I’m so lucky to get the pleasure of smaller brands reaching out and asking to work together or hunting and finding them on my own. So many of these brands, I may not otherwise know about – maybe you don’t know about them either which I why I wanted to feature a little section on some of my favourites.

  1.  Fable: Likely the biggest of the smallest brands. In case you weren’t aware, I am obsessed with everything Fable. Our dishes have all been replaced by Fable. Fable has also taken the place of our glassware and our cutlery. It’s timeless, beautifully handcrafted and durable.

2. Loba: I haven’t forgotten to take my meds/supplements once since this came into my life. The Loba machine is a smart pill organizer that can send reminders to your phone. I know, right? You’re going to ignore the reminders on your phone like me. Well, no problem, the machine itself also lights up so when you walk into your bathroom at night, there’s another visual reminder to take your supplements. Genius.

3. Maison Olive: for the home decor lover, Maison Olive has all the goodies you could want in your life. I have so much from there that I adore from jugs and vases to my dining table. Just have a look through their website and you’ll see what I mean. Right now, they are doing 20% off for Black Friday, but as soon as the sale is done, I still have a code for you: Samantha15.

4. Vessi shoes have been keeping our family’s feet dry for a few years now. Living in Vancouver, these are the shoes we need in the fall/winter to get around. Clunky rainboots are gone, and sleek waterproof runners are in. Check out their Black Friday Sale now.

5. Hone Collected is a new brand – two local Vancouver women came together and created this athleisure company. The fabric for their products is all sourced from Canada – which also happens to be where it’s manufactured. Hyper-local. Their Black Friday Sale is on now too and my code: Samantha15 stacks on top of it!
