dmittedly this is now one of my absolute favourite rooms in our home. If you've been here a while, you know that I gave up my home office space to make this room come together. It was HARD. Most of you amazing readers are here today because of that room. But, now that the calming nursery reveal is here - it's even better than I could have imagined. Now if only this baby would arrive.
Calming Nursery Reveal + Saving Money
In the spirit of things changing rather quickly – as we know from the home office’s two year stint, or Sloane’s nursery quickly transforming into a big girl’s room – we tried to keep things to a minimal here and reuse what we could. The Crib and Extras
The crib area with the clouds might be my favourite. These clouds are a DIY that is coming soon to the blog (I’ll link when it’s posted!) and they were so easy and affordable to make. For those concerned about them falling, SIDs, etc. Rest assured that when the baby actually sleeps here, they will be removed along with pillows blankets, etc. Anyways, the point being, although we used Sloane’s old crib which isn’t as much my style anymore, I used some linen sheets and this cute scalloped crib skirt to jeush it up and tie it into the space.
There we go. Now we just need this little monkey to make her grand entry to the world!!
The moment we found out we were expecting Sloane, I was beyond excited to start decorating her nurse
