f you need a functional space that works as your home office and as a guest room, this reveal is one thousand percent for you. If you're just into pretty spaces, well this reveal can also be for you too. The vision of this room has come to fruition far better than I could have ever imagined. I feel so lucky to be able to call this my office and even more proud when friends and family come and stay the night in the guest room. I know they are cozy and feel welcome!

The Home Office First

Remember for my very first one room challenge, I took on my absolute favourite room in our home, my home office (1.0). It was my pride and joy and I was so nervous to get rid of it to accommodate the nursery which now is also one of my absolute favourites in our home. Well, now that this home office is here, I’m ok with saying bye to that space. My vision was perfectly executed and I cannot get enough of this space. It’s inspiring to work in, it’s moody which is what I wanted and it’s fully my style. Seriously, obsessed is an understatement.

Transformation to the Guest Room

Sneaky Murphy Bed is hidden behind my desk. So to transform the home office to the guest room, all you need to do is move the desk over and pull down the King Sized Murphy Bed. Haven’t heard of one of those before have you?! I had to do a lot of hunting to track this down – luckily I found the ultimate King Sized Murphy Bed Kit to make this more streamlined. The kit comes in other sizes too if your guest room doesn’t need to accommodate such a large bed.
